Amazon Integrates Qtum Blockchain Platform into AWS Service

The Qtum platform dedicated to creating smart contracts and implementing decentralized applications is now available on Amazon Web Service.

In a statement, blockchain organization Qtum announced that its Dapps platform was now well-known by Amazon Web Service.

Through this partnership, AWS customers can access the Qtum blockchain app and develop their own smart contracts directly from the Amazon Web Service platform.

The Amazon Machine Image (AMI) system offered by AWS is free and users do not need to buy QTUM tokens to use the Qtum blockchain.

Patrick Dai, the co-founder of Qtum, said:

"Qtum is one of the most decentralized organizations on the web and AWS is one of the largest cloud providers in the world. It's a perfect combination for the users and the company. "

According to Cryptovest, there are currently 27 active Dapps on the Qtum network including SpaceChain (the origin of the project) and Pundi X, a provider of blockchain solutions for crypto outlets.

The blockchain developed by Qtum takes the foundations of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The fork uses a consensus of type Proof of Stake (PoS).

Last April, Amazon announced the launch of a new service called AWS Blockchain Templates to make it easier for developers to offer pre-built blockchain models.
