Ripple the crypto-currency that competes with Bitcoin :

For two years, it's impossible to ignore the Bitcoin phenomenon. Crypto-currency booming created in 2009, she upset the markets and apprentices traders, even if it began a vertiginous fall since mid January.

Bitcoin is the most famous cryptocurrency it is not the only one. Competitors have flourished, with more or less success in recent years.
We can mention Ether (acronym ETH) which is distributed under free license or Litecoin (LTC) which operates similar to Bitcoin, but it is the Ripple that attracts more and more attention of banks.
It must be said that Ripple stands out from other crypto-currencies with many advantages.

Not only is it a currency of exchange, as well as its sisters, but which, by working with the international banking system, allows much faster transactions (of the order of a few seconds for transfers between different countries) but also much less expensive.
It should be noted that the big difference between Ripple and Bitcoin is how it works with the so-called traditional banking system.
Where the creator of bitcoin (Satoshi Nakamoto, it is a pseudonym, his real identity remains unknown to date) wanted to make his currency an alternative to traditional currencies, Ripple wants to improve and better serve the current system.

The banks are not mistaken, as the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, which now offers its customers to conduct their international transactions through the ripples, because they are faster and more economical.
In France, Crédit Agricole is very interested in crypto-currency and has announced a six-month test phase.
It is also used by institutions such as UBS, Unicredit or Santander and a very large number of banks have entered into partnerships with Ripple.

The success of crypto-currencies tends to leave investors still somewhat dubious but this is understandable.

Indeed, the technologies on which cryptographic currencies are based are relatively recent, it is not easy to predict how they can evolve in the future and the risks may be real.

But given the recent partnership between Ripple and Moneygram, coupled with the confidence that is being taken by more and more banks, it is a safe bet that the future of Ripple will be radiant.
